Taste of London!

Hello There 🙂

Hands on my keyboard I’m ready to rush into a new post, opening the ground for a new category on the blog: #food! I just got back from a fantastic day, spent around amazing chefs and lovely cuisine at the Taste of London event and there’s no better time to talk about it than now!

So get yourself comfortable (Warm socks, a cozy blanket and a cup of mulled wine lying by the fireplace will be perfect! Shame on me, I’m hugging my heater!), enjoy!

Following on from the sell-out success of Taste of London in Regent’s Park last June, the winter edition offers all the incredible features you would expect from Taste Festivals, with a more boutique feel and a festive twist. Taste of London- the festive edition- has transformed Tobacco Dock into the ultimate foodie wonderland for four days of festive food, drink and much more to really get you in the mood for Christmas!

The event showcases some of the latest, greatest and most innovative restaurants in London, who are serving taster size portions of their increadible dishes. This year’s restaurants line-up is the best to date with Café Spice Namaste’, Kurobuta, Club Gascon, Pont St, Tredwell’s, Tom’s Kitchen, Maze Grill, Mole’ Taco Bar, Ametsa with Arzak Instruction and the Truscott Cellar.

I wish I had time and money to taste all of the great signature dishes at the event but that would be quite impossible.. Me and my beardy boy loved the Guacamole with beetroot Chips and Beef Shortrib Taco from Mole’ Taco Bar. I would definitely recommend the Slow Cooked BBQ Pulled Beef and Brisket Bun from Maze Grill and make sure you don’t miss the Truffled Macaroni Cheese at Tom’s Kitchen!

Me and my beardy love set on the Iron Throne itself, while sampling a Winter Wild Beer, a brew inspired by the TV show and created especially by the Wild Beer Co.
